We come from radio.

Where others saw phones, we saw new radios.

We are broadcasters, not a hosting company that picked up radio along the way. We have programmed major-market stations, developed nationally syndicated formats, built one of the industry’s early production music libraries, and been on the air as talent, including the early days of satellite radio. We have helped create shows for major networks, produced the theme songs and jingles in between, and consulted stations on how they sound. And we know the engineering, from the transmitter to the studio and every link in between.

Then the iPhone arrived, then the iPad and Android. Millions of new radios, in every pocket. In 2008 that idea launched this company, and it has pointed us in one direction ever since: take the love and discipline of AM and FM radio and bring it, beautifully, to every one of those devices.

Then the phone started ringing. First it was radio friends making the leap. Then people who had never set foot in a studio: How do I start an internet radio station? How do I put my business’s audio online? How do I get my audio playing on my website? We worked out the answer with each of them. Solving that problem is still the whole job.

So we built a team and the hosting technology to make it as close to turnkey as possible, with as much power as anyone in the business and the reliability to match. Hundreds of stations later, many of our earliest clients are still with us. Not because we are the cheapest, but because serious broadcasters and businesses want hosting they can set and forget, and someone who answers when it matters.

We started by solving a few friends’ problems back in 2008, and watching them succeed is what has driven us ever since.

Each one hands you a dashboard full of menus, players, and settings, and plans with seventeen checkboxes. Then you are left to guess: how many listeners to plan for, how much storage, which players, which devices. Guess low and your audience hears buffering. Guess high and you pay for things you will never use.

And the surprises come later. “Unlimited” that slows down once you grow. A low price that turns out to mean ads in the middle of your own programming. Charges you did not see coming, and licensing rules nobody mentioned. When something goes wrong, you post in a forum and hope.

We offer the same capabilities. We just start somewhere else: with the problem you are trying to solve. We explain all of this before you come aboard, and we recommend only what fits, which is sometimes one or two things, not a big bundle. We never insert ads into your programming, and we have never sold “unlimited,” because there is no such thing. You get an honest plan, sized for what you are really doing. And when you have a question, you just call.
